Sophia Antipolis will host the next Global Congress of science parks and areas of innovation in 2026. Despite major international competition, in particular from Saudi Arabia’s Dhahran Techno Valley, considered as one of the Middle East’s largest science parks, and Edmonton Research Park, one of the largest science parks in Canada, Sophia Antipolis, the leading technology hub in Europe, received the most votes.

Sophia Antipolis has been selected as one of three finalists to host the IASP World Congress in 2026! These candidates will present their bids in person to IASP members in Nairobi, Kenya, at the conference from September 24 to 27, 2024, highlighting their respective strengths in innovation and research.
