Faced with the rapid digitalisation of our environment, cybersecurity has become a key issue for the lasting development of any activity. It is a matter of unequivocal concern for the technopole, whose identity is deeply rooted in digital technology.
Capitalising on digital technologies to develop products and services for the Mediterranean yachting market and taking advantage of the partnership with Antibes Port, Europe’s largest marina. The main goal is to become become a trailblazing thirdmillennial port.
Benefitting from a privileged setting and world-class infrastructure such as Mouratoglou Tennis Academy, the technopole is building a high-level sport and health sector, while promoting collaboration across the ecosystem.
When technology developed in Sophia Antipolis meets the finance and banking sector, it naturally generates opportunities for innovation and the creation of different start-ups such as TrackInsight, IndiceA and Abaka. A sector aussi also highlighted thanks to the recent establishment of the American unicorn company, Symphony.
Edtech
The Educazur cluster supports the development of the local e-education ecosystem and EdTechs. It brings together the sector’s start-ups such as Teach On Mars, as well as higher education stakeholders such as SKEMA Business School, UCA and ERCIM.
In a very attractive region for property investment, where the market is dynamic, technologies developed in Sophia Antipolis enable the services offered by property stakeholders to be reinvented and enhanced. Several start-ups have been established, such as Kinaxia which offers innovative solutions for the value chain.
Sophia Antipolis has 45 health establishments, employing more than 2,500 people and generating almost 800 million Euros in turnover.
