ENHANCING HOSPITAL STAY QUALITY
AND PATIENT WELLBEING
INSTITUT ARNAULT TZANCK
A major private hospital player in the SUD Region, INSTITUT ARNAULT TZANCK is composed of non-profit associations and private establishments. The 2 sites located in the Alpes Maritimes can treat up to1,400 patients across 25 healthcare centres. The project involves enhancing facilities at the Institute in order to provide patients with:
- Zen beds with CD players and CDs, light and essential oil diffusers,
- Touch computers giving access to multimedia content and amusing, recreational and educational applications during hospitalisation
SUMMARY TECHNICAL FEATURES OF THE PROJECT
ZEN BED
To offer patients wellbeing and a relaxing interlude, the INSTITUT ARNAULT TZANCK would like to increase the number and configuration of zen beds used by patients during their hospitalisation. Disruptive factors affecting patients’ rest are ambient noise, smells and lighting. The zen bed includes a hi-fi, relaxing music CDs inspired by spa music, an essential oil diffuser and a light diffuser.
TABLET COMPUTERS
In order to improve the quality of patients’ stay and their wellbeing, INSTITUT ARNAULT TZANCK wishes to purchase tablet computers to lend to patients during their stay. Thesecomputers tablet computers would help to improve the quality of the hospital stay by offering access to multimedia content and to amusing, educational, intuitive and recreational applications linked to promoting health, and helping them to relax prior to medical exams which are often arduous and a source of stress for patients
