THE INNOVATION AND TERRITORIAL ANALYSIS INSTITUTEseeks to offer local municipalities a tool for analysing technological and industrial dynamics in the regions. Its task is twofold: regional observation and public policy assistance.
The main purposeof the Innovation & Territorial Analysis Instituteis to provide regional authorities with tools for observing and analysing the technological and economic dynamics of the local area.
The aim is to enable local stakeholders – and political decision-makers in particular – to make informed choices.
FEATURE OF THE PROJECT
The contributions of the INNOVATION AND TERRITORIAL ANALYSIS INSTITUTEwill be supported by a single data base and high-level expertise and will be implemented through:
- Multi-criteria analysis of developments in the SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS technology park, in the French environment of innovative territories (position development, innovation, competitiveness, etc.)
- Evaluations of support policies for innovation and economic development
- Support for specialised agencies dedicated to local development and regional attractiveness
- A support function for facilitating public debate on issues relating to technological and economic development
